2019 Notice Fall Leaf Collection in Pennington Borough

Borough Roads:

The Borough collects leaves curbside from October 1st to January 1st.  Leaves are collected approximately three days-a-week.  Place leaves at the curb or the edge of the roadway and away from storm-water grates. Long rows are best; big piles slow us down.  Do not place sticks, branches, stones, weeds or mulched grass/leaves into the leaf pile.  Our equipment CAN NOT collect piles that are mixed with branches or any material other than leaves.

After January 1st, there will be no curbside pick-up. All leaves should be placed in containers or and lawn bags which should be left open at the top.

Please contact Rick Smith, Superintendent of Public Works at 609-737-9440 with any questions.

County Roads:

Mercer County will schedule leaf collection for residents living on County Roads, Ingleside Avenue, Main Street, Delaware Avenue, Pennington-Lawrenceville Rd, and West Franklin Avenue.  Check the Mercer County website, www.mercercounty.org for details.

Do not park cars on or in front of leaf piles.  It creates a fire hazard and makes it impossible to collect the leaves. Leaf Collection schedule is contingent upon the weather, condition of the equipment and other unforeseen emergencies.
